Book 1(3): The Stone Seed

Chapter 8: Ansa’s Worry
Scene 1: Clal’s in danger
G: Ansa Wakes up to do normal tasks as tailor’s assistant
B: Feels that Clal is in danger.
T: Tells Gwyn about her feeling after Gwyn notices something wrong. Ansa wants to go to Talon’s so Gwyn agrees.
Q: what is going on with Clal? Why is Gwyn so nice?
Scene 2: To the Smithy
G: To find Clal at Talon’s
B: Clal not there, locked, can’t get in to see more.
T: Gwyn suggests go to inn keeper who hears all rumors. They go.
Scene 3: The Inn
G: Talk to the Inn Keeper
B: Has information about the boys, asked about Talon, both left this morning together.
T: Need to get into the castle if Clal’s there. Gwyn’s idea is to make delivery. Asks for aparons. She also writes a note.
Scene 4: Castle Guards
G: go to castle to be let in by guards
B: the guards state there are no deliveries on Adentus Day
T: Gwyn pleads, offers gold, then threatens. Says the aporons are for the feast that is only in a few hours.
T: wins over benevolent guard and is escorted in, given clothes adn note from Gwyn.
T: Gwyn gives her a mysterious ring: “Keep it. It will protect you and guide you. It was mine once. I’ll explain later.” (sun, moon, star coin)
T: Gwyn she holds Ansa’s face almost…says she just reminders her of someone she once knew. (her own mother because she is a Wielder and so was her mother.)
Q: Who was the person she is reminded of? How can a ring protect and guide?
Chapter 9: Ansa in the castle
Scene 1: Head Mistress
G: Intends to meet head mistress and explain Gwyn’s plan
B: can’t find the note, tension.
T: But the woman sees the ring and Ansa doesn’t need the note. (never finds it because someone evil finds it. Comes up later.). The woman means something to her, and knows it’s Gwyn’s ring, believs her now and tells a little bit about the meaning of the coin or at least why Gwyn and her are connected…doesn’t reveal full meaning of ring yet.
Q: What is this ring?
Scene 2: Garden scene
G: They go to the garden to pick flowers. White roses. Never seen by Ansa before.
B: Ansa distracted by a Castle Sparrow that takes particularly fondness of Ansa (Hittle). Playful and intelligent. (Hittle comes every year sent by Gulnerye to be at Morgreth’s becon call and prepare for The Chosen One coming, to aid him.)
T: Ansa remembers the bird for later when they are out of the castle when Hittle leads them along.
T: Bell rings and they hurry to the feast to help.
Scene 3: Ansa at feast
G: Ansa goes to find Clal, speak with him, check on him. Clal and Rythe not there, hears boys speaking about the two of them and find out interesting information, key players of evil.
T: Hittle leads her out and away
Scene 4: Ansa to the Chosen Chamber
Goal: Hittle leads her

Chapter 10: Chosen Chambar
Scene 1: Ansa’s Story
G: They are all confused not knowing why they are there, Clal, Rythe, and Ansa. The room is empty and slightly cramped.
B: Morgreth comes through secret passageway in stone wall. He tells Clal that he is the chosen one and states the 3 criteria: (brought a stone, not supposed to be there, orphaned.) Asks Clal to show the stone and a sister stone lights up on the wall, only Clal could do that, “go ahead, push it.”
T: He hesitates, unsure of himself, speaks this and Morgreth comforts him. they walk through another door which seals itself.
STEP 2: HERO’S JOURNEY - REFUSAL OF THE CALL
Scene 2: The Sister Stone / Morgreth Arrives and instructs
G: When the door shuts, Morgreth starts to say something but Clal’s light grows & the room lights up, activates.
B: Clal, Rythe and Ansa watch unsure of what’s going on. As the light continues and while the wonder grows, Morgreth tells Clal that he is the Chosen one.
T: And so starts the schooling, the explaining. “Everything you need to begin your journey is in this room.” “I will send for Jestro and he will lead you out safely when ready.” Morgreth leaves, still without an explanation of why the stone glows. “Clal for the second time is frustrated he forgot to ask Morgreth this time.”
T: On the floor of the chamber it says, “At the Last” (which means that this is where they must go in the very end to continue their journey, this is where Illia is hidden.)
STEP 3: HERO’S JOURNEY - SUPERNATURAL AID
Scene 3: Exploring after Morgreth leaves
G: They explore, find things, exciting, wonder
B: nothing makes sense, must trust. But the Dragon Summoner is there, and Clal feels something strong within.
T: They turn to conversations about the dragona nd focus on picture of dragon and everything “dragon.” that becomes their central focus.
Scene 4: Jestro Comes
G: Jestro comes to take them, they go and look to get weapons
B: Clal says he knows where weapons are instead, (secretly wanting the sword he saw)
T: conflict between the three and Jestro but Clal wins them over.
Q: Why does Clal want to figure out the weapons issue on their own.
T: Jestro says that the tunnel is fairly short. locks door into the darkness.

Ch: help decide what the three will tell Talon to do if they can reach him and save him, which, they tell them to tell him to meet them at a certain place to hide
Ch: given horses, 3 of them, and supplies
Ch: some ritual takes place and the pinnacle is Illia appearing, they don’t know who she is though in full
Ch: Morgreth tells them that there is a person who is among the company there who is a spy
Ch: they leave going through the woods again and told to go straight to a woman who lives at the base of the mountain in Reubus
Ch: meet a woman and are told a prophecy not in their book
Ch: begin accent up the mountain not knowing where to go
Ch: spot the RISHK and follow them for a ways
Ch: find out they are on the wrong side, and have to travel to the middle peak
Ch: enter a death trap of a challenge and get out of it
Ch: guided by Clal’s memory of the dimensions in the previous book
Ch: activate a stone turtle rock formation that takes them to a door in the cliff into the mountain

Ch: Renthar is spoken of as the only real Wielder, and he is an earth wielder

Ch: Renthar comes to take the earth crystal, but realizes that Rythe is his son and lets him go
Book 6(8): Wielders of the Dawn
S: The Great (5th) Inner Kingdom
G: Clal goes looking for the 5th crystal kingdom.
B: Illia tells him that Illia is the inner kingdom. There’s an outer kingdom. “You’ve always known this.”
T: Clal realizes he has to pull the outer kingdom in order to move forward in his quest.
S: Womlon’s Fire Rain
G: Womlon, as an act of fighting, explodes sun.
B: Fire rains down from sky and burns the clothes of all as well as burns the entire face of Illia.
T: Purifies the good, destroys the bad people, all change to glorified clothing, sea of glass, earth of glass.
S: Clal is about to remove the Light Crystal, Illia provides him with the prophecy in the book telling of what will happen (chaos, Womlon will no longer be bound), difficult decision, earthequakes and confusion
S:
S: Clal Summons New Sun
G: Clal uses stone to summon new white/blue sun
B: unbeknownst to him, Hanone comes with the new sun
T: It breaks into the side of Illia and the two continents combine into one, creating a wall of water, break through to the final battle upon Hanone.
Then once elements are fused into ONE:

Power to unite islands
Power to bring all inner kingdoms back
Power to bring Illia and Hanna to the outer realms
